Sculpting Light Films

                                     Films and dvds by Moviemakers

Moviemakers is an after-school film and animation club for six-thirteen-year-olds; a fabulous forum for children to learn to channel their creativity productively, to co-operate in creating something worthwhile together, and to build confidence and technique. It’s fun – and there are biscuits!
Have a look at some of the films we have done!

Sessions are a mixture of drama (comprising role-play, improvisation and games to build trust and natural interaction), film techniques and animation.
Each term we aim to produce a DVD showcasing the children’s work. Productions so far have included a silent movie, an Enid Blyton parody and lots of claymation and flat-screen animation.

We are about to begin an Agatha Christie-style interactive mystery and, for younger Moviemakers, a heroic quest involving a dragon which will involve green-screen, animation  and special effects.

Moviemakers takes place in Filleigh Village Hall from 3.30 to 6.00pm at a cost of £6.00 per child.
